ABOUT ALISON TEMPERLEY
A warm and engaging executive coach, programme designer, tutor, facilitator and speaker and author of Inside Knowledge: How Women Can Thrive in Professional Service Firms. Alison\'s aim is to develop and release the personal potential of individuals, teams and the organisations they work in, based on a business orientated approach which supports and challenges her clients to develop practical solutions tailored to their needs. She works with senior executives and their teams in large international legal, consulting and accountancy firms including Linklaters, Allen & Overy, EY, PwC and McKinsey, global banks HSBC and RBS, together with global companies such as Cisco and Rentokil Initial. Alison designs and runs programmes on subjects including leadership, managing people, client relationship building and business perspectives programmes. In her executive coaching she works with leaders and aspiring leaders internationally. Alison was a director of the Praxis Centre at Cranfield University 20••••13 and coaches Cranfield’s MBA students. She has worked extensively in Europe, Asia, USA and Africa. Alison has a specialism in women’s leadership. She designed and led the EY Women’s Leadership programme for Cranfield Business School with Professor Susan Vinnicombe. She leads the Linklaters Global Women’s Leadership Programme which has been running since 2012. Both these Programmes have won multiple international awards. Alison now works with Allen & Overy and Bird and Bird designing and leading their Global Women’s Leadership Programmes. Her book which draws on her experience with professional service firms (Inside Knowledge – how women can thrive in professional service firms) has been published by Emerald Publishing Limited. Alison qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She was Head of Career Development for the tax and legal practice across Europe, the Middle East and Africa before leaving PwC.
