Serving member of the Operations Executive accountable for overall Operations & IT strategy for Allianz UK and country representative at global expert groups. SMCR regulated role holder. Strategy, run and governance of UK shared services under COO remit: Delivering strategic leadership and guidance to change portfolio for HR, Finance, and Operations involving c. 50 team members (portfolio management, project managers and business analysts) and c. £10M of change budget and runs on lean-portfolio and agile delivery methodologies; Lead on the consolidation, synergies, productivity, and benefit realisation of offshore and UK shared and intra-group services control across business process outsourcing and corporate services such as Procurement, IT, HR, and Risk. Lead on set-up, governance, planning & budgeting, and performance management for all services c. £30M of spend. Alongside these responsibilities I also acted as Head of Protection & Resilience, leading the team responsible for Operational Resilience, business continuity, crisis and incident management, and data rights (Subject Access Requests (SARs) in 2022. My key contributions are: • Led contracting, developing, and delivering transitionary services under two M & As (250 FTE and £22M annual spend). • Supervised COVID business continuity invocation for a 670-employee offshore operation and suppliers to maintain critical customer communications, call handling and back-office operations. • Attained recognition for ensuring benefits realisation of £30M p.a. from offshore as well as cost arbitrage, value-add and productivity across multiple lines of business.
