As well as being a qualified Chartered Accountant Alison holds the ICAEW probate qualification enabling her to provide support to all aspects of non-contentious probate. These combined with demonstrated practical experience enables Alison to advise owner managed businesses on a wide variety of tax and business issues over the businesses lifeThis commercial experience is invaluable in the support she provides to Charities and Academies who increasingly face many overlapping issues. Alison also had experience as a Charity Trustee and has undertaken a wide variety of volunteer work which enables her to look at issues from many anglesA Chartered Institute of Tax prize-winner, Alison also holds the CTA qualification and is an associate of the British Institute of Management.Outside of work Alison is kept busy with her family commitments but being a \'foodie\' enjoys any excuse to experience quality local food providers or relax by experimenting in the kitchen and it this interest that has lead to her involvement in the Food and Drink sector.
