ABOUT ALISON MAZICH
I’m a sophomore at Tufts University studying Biomedical Engineering, with a minor in Sociology, where I’m building a strong foundation in lab skills, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary research. I’m particularly interested in areas like biomaterials, tissue engineering, and cell culture, and I’m eager to apply my knowledge to real-world challenges in science and healthcare.Beyond academics, I’m passionate about civic engagement and community service. As an engineering student, I bring a problem-solving mindset to my civic work and am dedicated to making engagement more accessible to students across disciplines. Through my involvement in service organizations, I’ve also developed leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills while creating opportunities for meaningful impact. I enjoy connecting with others to drive positive change and exploring ways to combine my technical expertise with social awareness to benefit my community.
