Created and collaborated on yearly events calendar since the Foundation’s inception. Planned a (5) city (New York City, Washington, DC, Atlanta, Houston, and Beaumont, TX) book launch tour. Spearheaded a partnership with The Jimmy Carter Library and Museum culminating in a reception, book signing, and live panel discussion, simulcast on C-SPAN, moderated by New Yorker’s Hendrik Hertzberg and featuring the biographers of the book The Meanest Man in Congress. Secured a sponsorship with 92nd Street Y and the Belfer Center’s 2020 Campaign for 100%. Helped procure panelists for (2) Campaign for 100% virtual events, with a viewership of over people, including Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Cecile Richards, Kim Wehle, Hendrik Hertzberg, Timothy McNulty, Rafael Bernal, Maria Teresa Kumar, Trevor Potter, Janai Nelson, and E.J. Dionne, Jr. Created and curated opening remarks, recorded sponsorship messaging, and talking points for all events. Handled all celebrity, VIP, and talent rider requirements and acted as a day of contact between staff, VIP clients, talent, and celebrity guests. Managed the day to day and event specific tasks for 3 in-house staff members as well as 5 contractors. Created and implemented event specific, and yearlong budgets for all expenses including, but not limited to talent, travel, print collateral, thank you gifts, holiday cards and gifts, entertainment, food and beverage, staffing, and décor.
