ABOUT ALISON MITCHELL
Having worked as a restaurant chef and private chef in creative cafes and restaurants from the UK to New Zealand, I now share my obsession with food as a cookbook copy-editor and food writer. During Covid, I discovered a passion for copy-editing, particularly cookbooks, as it combines my analytical attention to detail with my expertise on recipe writing and food. I also write foodie articles, blog posts, and cookbooks, specializing in think pieces and educational interviews, and I develop recipes for private clients\' cafes and cookbooks. In 2017, I founded Nigella Eats Everything, a food and travel blog about my move to France and the French food culture, and include delicious recipes. Since 2023, I have worked as a culinary tour guide for award-winning food tour company Taste of Toulouse, sharing my love of French cuisine with our guests. Outside of the food world, I also provide writing, ghostwriting, and fiction and non-fiction copy-editing and proofreading services for fiction, culture, and travel clients.
