ABOUT ALISON HOBURG

I am a driven Accounting student at Florida State University (Class of 2029) actively seeking an internship, job, or program to explore various legal fields and gain hands-on experience. My intrigue in the legal profession began in estate planning, and I have since spent time shadowing local lawyers and observing court sessions to better understand litigation and legal proceedings. On campus, I am highly involved in Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, Women in Pre-Law Society, the Business Living Learning Community, and Chi Omega.Drawing on a strong background in tutoring and mentoring, I excel in interpersonal communication. My prior experience has allowed me to practice using common legal case management software, and hone my data entry skills. I am passionate about the importance of strong communication and understanding between a client and their legal representative, therefore I plan to practice law in both Spanish and English to ensure language is never a barrier to effective legal advocacy.
