About Me In addition to leading the Amazon’s Canada Indirect Tax Team for the last 8 years, I am also Vice Chair of TEI’s national Canadian Commodity Tax Committee, and global-co leader of Amazon’s Women-in-Tax organization. I enjoy thinking of what is possible and solving complex tax problems with innovative and creative solutions. I am passionate about developing sound and fair tax policy that reflects commercial realities. About our work My tax planning and audit teams: Develop comprehensive tax planning strategies for new Amazon product launches and business features across multiple operational domains Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, public policy, accounting, public relations, finance, and other business partner teams to ensure tax-efficient and compliant business operations Analyze complex tax scenarios and design innovative solutions that support business objectives Research and draft tax opinions to support positions Identify opportunities, and execute strategies to drive tax policy change Manage and lead all indirect tax audits, information reporting, information requests for all Amazon entities operating in and with Canada Identify and manage operational and strategic changes needed across our businesses and systems to respond to legislative and administrative changes in tax laws and their interpretation
