ABOUT ALISON DUBOIS

As President of The Mindful Mind, LLC, I bring over 25 years of experience at the intersection of mental health, education, and organizational wellness. I specialize in helping nonprofits, companies, and academic institutions create more resilient, emotionally intelligent, and effective environments through research-backed behavioral and educational solutions. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, providing therapy in both private practice and via telehealth. My clinical work and consulting are rooted in a deep understanding of trauma, burnout, and human performance — areas I’ve dedicated my career to exploring, addressing, and educating others about. Whether leading professional development workshops on leadership, executive coaching, DEI best practices, or mental wellness, my mission is clear: to empower individuals and organizations to function at their highest potential while maintaining emotional and psychological well-being. I’ve worked extensively with children (ages 3 through college), educators, and student-athletes to build emotional regulation, mental toughness, and compassionate leadership skills. My research into secondary trauma and compassion fatigue in educators has led to a national platform of speaking engagements and the 2019 publication of my book on burnout in education. I believe that real change starts with awareness — and that sustainable change happens through the alignment of intention, education, and action.
