I’m responsible for developing the strategy for the hourly/volume Talent Acquisition process for all Macy’s store locations nationwide through close partnership with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Staffing to ensure current and future workforce needs are met. I currently lead a centralized interviewing team of 30 year-round colleagues and 100+ seasonal colleagues responsible for filling entry-level and seasonal roles within all Macy’s store locations. This team typically conducts interviews and offers candidates just during the holiday season! My team and I develop regular training sessions to upskill current colleagues’ interview skills and train hiring designees within all store locations on recruitment process changes. In addition to identifying areas of improvement within the Applicant Tracking System and overall hiring processes, I partner with Legal, Background Check, and Technology teams to implement changes, such as the launch of our new Applicant Tracking System, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, in February 2021. A key part of my role is to solicit feedback and recap hiring successes, opportunities, marketing campaigns, and trends for senior-level leadership and HR Business Partners.
