ABOUT ALISON BYRNE
Alison is a production coordinator at DNEG, a leading visual effects company in Vancouver, Canada. She joined the company in January 2023, after moving from Ireland, where she worked in the TV production industry for various companies, such as COCO Content, Loosehorse Productions, and Mind the Gap Films. Alison graduated with a first-class honours degree in TV, Radio, and New Media Broadcasting from the Institute of Technology, Tralee, in 2019. During her studies, she directed her first short documentary, Jill & Giles, which was selected for 19 national and international film festivals. She also established her own videography business, Wanderful Media Production, and contributed to a documentary project, Unsilencing Black Voices, that aimed to educate on racism and discrimination. She has developed skills in video/TV production and is eager to learn and grow in the VFX and Animation industry.
