ABOUT ALISON BRODIE
I launched Brodie Skin care (BSc) in 2012, after a long career in the Forensic Science Service. I combined my love of science with skincare, to create a range of Sports Moisturiser which solve the problems of Sport Stressed Skin. Our range includes Recovery Phase Swim, Cycle and a General exercise Rehydration Cream. The problems commonly encountered are dry patches of skin on the face, particularly between the eye brows and around the mouth; sore skin caused by heat and oxidative stress, itchiness and dryness caused by dehydrating or chlorine and salt water, and stinging due to the acidic sweat, we all produce whilst exercising. Those are the problems that we can see or feel. However, our skin is equally under threat from free radicals (a natural by-product of metabolism) which are produced in greater volumes as we exercise.These need a special moisturiser with loads of anti oxidants in it, to mop up these harmful free radicals. Recovery Phase products are all natural, not tested on animals, contain no animal extracts, and no nasties like Parabens,SLS,Petroleum Products, alcohol, and MI. Carefully hand made by myself, they contain quality natural and organic ingredients, packed with anti-oxidants and active vitamins to help the skin repair and recover.
