akt is the UK’s national LGBTQ+ youth homelessness charity. We have helped over LGBTQ+ young people since our inception in 1989. Our mission is to secure safe and secure homes and better futures for vulnerable LGBTQ+ people aged between 16 and 25. We exist to give LGBTQ+ young people who are at risk of homelessness, or experiencing homelessness or a hostile living environment, the support they need to thrive. We do what we do because LGBTQ+ young people deserve safety and acceptance. For as long as LGBTQ+ young people are subject to hostility, exclusion and insecurity, our services will be vitally needed. • Leading all corporate partnership stewardship, cultivation, and activation for the organisation. • Developing a corporate partnership pipeline and accurately forecast, creating mitigation plans when necessary.• Sourcing and developing leads for future funding opportunities. • Developing akt’s corporate ‘offering’ to improve stewardship and cultivation. • Providing training to colleagues and act as the corporate partnership specialist expert in the organisation. • Attending London and Black Pride events with akt, creating a plan to maximise them as a key face-to-face stewardship event opportunity. • Using excellent relationship management and stewardship of corporate partners, resulting in demonstrable account growth.
