There is significant pressure leading a large team. We handle the day-to-day delivery and processing of Sony\'s global affiliate signings (agreements, deals, songs, metadata, royalty rate calculation from over 30 offices) but the challenges we face, result in big wins and happy days! Data is the nuts and bolts of publishing - I respect it, as well as its metadata and just how much goes into taking care of it and getting it to the right places. I was asked in 2020 to speak at the \'Atlassian Summit\' in Las Vegas, about how I\'ve helped streamline the deal/song delivery desk at Sony. As I was creating the I realised just how much of a data geek I am; what it takes to get our songwriters paid is incredible and I enjoy every part of that puzzle and the awesome teams, DEV, databases, operations, testing, migrating, validating and collaboration that go into it. As well as Data Management, I also love managing a team; effecting personal development, championing and growth. We are nothing without amazing people with amazing ideas!
