I lead the Retail Investment Advice Legal team within our General Counsel’s Organization. We support our Advice and Wealth Management Practice Group, Advisor Business Development Group and Investment Research Group, among other areas. The team provides advice on cutting edge, innovative products and services that represent the core value proposition of the company’s advisory products and services for retail customers. I enjoy providing advice on key regulatory matters, and work to influence the development of regulatory policy by advocating and participating in industry committees. I host a monthly Financial Planning Think Tank Forum for business and legal/compliance participants as a touchpoint to keep abreast of emerging regulatory issues, hot topics and best practices - and what they mean for the realm of financial planning and its intersection to wealth management.
