What type of experience do you have?With a decade in finance, I have a passion for numbers and accuracy. For the past five years, I\'ve specialized in taxation, solving complex regulations to benefit clients. My role as a DCAA auditor refined my analytical skills and government compliance knowledge. Now pursuing my CPA, I\'m eager to bring my experience and dedication to a leading organization.Where did you grow up? I’m a New England baby! I was born in Portland, Maine and spent my childhood in Southern Maine, most of New Hampshire and even did a brief stint near Buffalo, NY before I moved to Massachusetts over a decade ago and haven’t left since. I grew up with a twin sister and a couple of older ones as well, and after turning 20 decided to take a break from school and move to MA away from my family to grow. Now I’m trying to save for a house in the North Shore region, to have my own garden and place to put my books. First place you’d hope to travel post quarantine? I’m hoping to travel to Ireland within the next two years and then Holland in the next five. I also want to go to Universal Studios Harry Potter World, but I’m trying to complete the CPA exam before I “treat” myself to traveling. Fun fact about yourself you’d like to share: I was part of a LATIN club during high school where we translated the Odyssey and myths. I was convinced that we were the coolest club at the school. What are some of your favorite hobbies? I love to read, kayaking, going out with friends, organizing my stuff, random craft projects with my SBUX club and eventually would like to join a book club soon.
