I am a D.C. based data professional with a background in applied statistics and experimentation gained from biomedical research. I began my career in information management; this enabled a data-oriented foundation for my career supplemented by advancing skills in SQL, and relational databases. I am passionate about mitigating climate change via educating and empowering women. In my first Data Scientist role at Spirit Airlines, I built a heuristic approach to strategically introduce dynamic pricing of ancillary products based on itinerary attributes. Additionally, I provided visibility into the impact of leveraging data science in aviation by presenting on core concepts and relaying data insights to C-level executives in preparation for quarterly earnings calls. As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Netflix I partner with Platform Engineering to develop and execute on telemetry collection and insights strategy. I improve observability for Engineers for more data-driven decision-making pertaining to availability. I develop actionable metrics, production-quality ETL pipelines, and self-service tools via end-to-end engineering.
