ABOUT ALISA SOMMER OHARA

Strategic GTM & Partnerships leader with experience across startups, big tech, and management consulting. I currently work at Google, where I lead our Global EdTech Business Partnerships & Programs team, which means I have the incredible opportunity to bring together Google\'s education products and EdTechs across the ecosystem to build solutions that impact learning & education. I also led the launch of a Google accelerator for early-stage startups with in partnship with StartEd. Prior to Google, I worked at Deloitte Consulting, where I led projects across industries with a particular focus on go-to-market & marketing strategy and digital transformation. I obtained my JD/MBA at UCLA and began my career working for some of the most iconic companie in the media & entertainment industry (including Disney, Lionsgate, and CAA). Outside of work, I am passionate about using my skills to give back as a member of the Board of Directors of LA’s Best, the Pride at Google Americas Steering Committee, and an alum of the Coro Foundation’s Lead LA program.
