NINDS Outstanding Investigator Award (OIA) program ($15M/yr); Landis Mentorship Award ($500K/yr), and Conference Awards ($250K/yr). • Spearhead execution of HEAL’s research strategy by overseeing 20 cross-institute funding initiatives; advise program officers on synthesizing programmatic and funding recommendations for decision makers.• Manage all aspects of NINDS OIA program including: initiative development, guidance to investigators and their institutional officials; review of applications, budget prioritization; progress of grantees, evaluation of the program, and briefing senior leaders and Board members.• Assess and track programmatic outcomes through the development and analysis of qualitative and quantitative metrics• Consistently assess administrative burden and advise senior leadership on steps to remove bottlenecks. • Operationalize policy and funding decisions across NINDS.
