My career has been based on a passion for helping others. After 12 years as a clinical social worker/psychotherapist, I launched Alisa Blum & Associates, providing training, coaching & consulting to businesses and organizations to improve leadership, team and individual development. In I began helping businesses and organizations develop tools to improve relationships across the generations. I have presented at professional conferences on this topic for the Association for Talent Development, the International Public Management Association for Human Resources, the Non-Profit Association of Oregon and the Oregon Bar Association. In 2012, Lillian Tsai and I began offering the program, “Working Across Generations & Cultures”, which has been presented to numerous organizations, including Boeing and the US Forest Service. In 2015, Judith Sugg, PhD and I began AIM for Organizational Health to provide mindfulness solutions that enhance organizational effectiveness. We have primarily worked with healthcare organizations and governmental agencies, and have presented at professional conferences to enhance leadership development, improve team building, decrease stress, reduce burnout and enhance conflict resolution. We have co-authored the book,\"Transforming Conflict with Mindfulness\". I am certified through the Institute for Social+Emotional Intelligence to provide the ISEI Social+Emotional Intelligence assessment and provide the Prevue Assessment, a candidate selection tool.
