ABOUT ALISA ZELENINA
Having an international academic background in architecture, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree at the Polytechnic University of Turin, driven by a passion for innovative, community-centered design that fosters engagement with public and exhibition spaces. This has led me to explore and adapt a design approach where architecture transcends mere function and volume, contributing to the identity and well-being of the community it serves, such as, for instance, in a recent academic collaboration where my team and I developed a technically complex Japanese-inspired house design, awarded top honors. My technical proficiency spans multiple design software, including Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit which I like to integrate with hand sketching, watercolors, model and collage-making in my projects. Motivated by diversity in experiences, I thrive in a challenging environment that demands perseverance, learning, and creative problem-solving, while adopting a well-organized and methodical approach. Looking ahead, I aspire to broaden my expertise through advanced studies, internships, and practical experience with international design firms that prioritize cutting-edge, culturally resonant architecture. My goal is to build on my foundation to contribute to projects that are both technologically advanced and deeply connected to their communities.
