Ali Rowhani-Rahbar is the Bartley Dobb Professor for the Study and Prevention of Violence and Director of the Center for Firearm Injury Prevention at the University of Washington. His work examines how community-based interventions, social programs, and public policies affect different forms of violence, with a particular focus on preventing firearm-related harm. He is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine.
