ABOUT ALINA SPANUTH
As a PhD holder in Entrepreneurship & Management my research interest lies in the field of social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial ecosystems, community organizing, and social and economic development in developing countries. Further, I am interested in social and ethical issues around marginalization of societal groups, including, among others, migration and homelessness. Working 5+ years in the Global Mobility Tech Start-up Localyze GmbH enabled me to use and develop my analytical and hands-on skills in a fast-paced start-up environment. I have developed excellent leadership skills and professional analytical, communications and problem-solving skills through my industry working experiences. Having led projects on sustainability and environmental compliance, AI implementation and efficiency, as well as immigration consulting and CSR, I gained the skill set that equips me to solve problems that address both economic and social aspects. Working in private sector organizations of various sizes and being involved in academia enables me to assess situations from a multidimensional perspective and implement solutions after informed decision-making. I like to challenge myself and am passionate about working on solutions for bringing sustainability into businesses, teaching, as well as my private life.
