ABOUT ALINA AEBY

Real estate is often treated as an asset class. I see it as economic development.Land systems, capital flows, digital infrastructure, title frameworks, housing policy, and technology ecosystems are not separate conversations. They shape how economies function and how opportunity is distributed.I am a global entrepreneur working at the intersection of real estate systems, PropTech, capital markets, and economic development. As Founder of the Silicon Valley PropTech Association (SVPA), a non-profit platform, I convene cross-border dialogue between startups, investors, institutions, and public-sector leaders. Our work spans global forums, trade delegations, and structured collaborations where innovation meets governance and infrastructure. In parallel, I am building DataPulse, a proptech company focused on strengthening real estate data systems and digital infrastructure in informal and emerging markets, debuting in Uganda with local partners and aiming to scale it to East Africa and beyond. Transparent property records, transferable, leverageable titles, and reliable market data are not technical details. They are foundations of capital confidence and long-term development capacity.I also maintain an active real estate brokerage practice in San Francisco, California, advising on investment and cross-border transactions. Markets must be understood both structurally and operationally.Education remains central to my work. It keeps me connected and humble and I enjoy both learning and sharing through teaching. I am a NAR\'s Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) Instructor, teaching global real estate practices across markets. Through long-standing honorary leadership roles within the National Association of Realtors, I have supported international collaboration, ethical standards, and housing initiatives, while forging new partnerships in emerging markets throughout Africa, Middle East and Eastern Europe. My focus is consistent across continents:– Real estate as infrastructure– Technology as system enabler– Capital as catalyst– Collaboration as multiplierI work globally across the United States, Europe, Africa, and Asia, engaging with governments, trade organizations, startup ecosystems, and industry leaders who recognize that property systems sit at the core of economic architecture.Real estate is not peripheral to development. It is foundational.
