Main contractor St William - residential project at King`s Road Park – total of 1,800 of flats to be built in over 5 phasesDuties and Responsibilities: • Overall control and responsibility for all the lifting operations onsite – total of 5 cranes• Discharge responsibility for Health and Safety as set out in project specific health and safety plan• Promote and integrate behavioural safety initiatives through induction, presentation and on-site management• Assessing method statements, risk assessments and lift plans• Coordinating meetings with all the contractors onsite regarding the usage of cranes, forklifts for offloading, deliveries and installations• Reviewing subcontractor lift plan proposals • Producing mobile and tower cranes management plans• Producing lift plans, RAMS for all the lifting operations onsite• Leading the site lifting team: lifting supervisors, slingers, crane operators; forklift drivers - a total team of 19 people• Responsible for site inductions for any new joiners to the lifting team• Deliver the daily safety briefings • Participating in the monthly Lifting Operations Forum with my peers across 8 residential projects• Exceeded the standards for lifting safety as measured by monthly audits carried out by external consultants
