Collaborate with various exchanges and clearing brokers to manage trade clearance and allocations, fostering seamless communication with other operational teams to resolve and settle margins and cash breaks. • Establish valuable partnerships with sales, trading, CSR’s, and operations teams, ensuring a streamlined clearing process from the front-end to the back-end. • Conduct meticulous end-of-day checks to guarantee the accuracy of trade and position reporting. • Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external clients, fostering trust and reliability. • Proficiently calculate profit & loss and unrealized profit & loss, resolving trade and position discrepancies efficiently. • Demonstrate expertise in OTC cleared products and a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements pertaining to client margining and trade allocations. • Possess in-depth knowledge of the average price and allocation process, as well as variation margin and initial margin requirements. • Monitor crucial events such as first notice, last trading dates, exercise and assignments, deliveries, open interest, and other lifecycle events to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines for both clients and exchanges. • Coordinate and effectively communicate technical issues with client services, trade management, IT, business change, and external clients, ensuring the strategic robustness of trade flows in accordance with exchange regulations.
