ABOUT ALI EBRAHIMI
I started my journey at AMD in 2016 as a thermal engineer, working on designing and optimizing cooling solutions for discrete GPUs. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to lead the thermal design for several GPU generations, covering everything from simulations to architecting thermal policies. As our team grew during challenging times like the Crypto boom, the Pandemic, and the rise of AI, I helped hire and mentor over 10 talented thermal and mechanical engineers. It’s been rewarding to watch the team grow and adapt to the fast-paced demands of the industry. Today, I lead a team of passionate thermal mechanical engineers, working on exciting projects across discrete GPU and APU Client products. I’m grateful for the journey so far and the amazing teams I’ve had the chance to work with along the way.
