About Ali Durmusoglu

I am a second-year computer science student at Texas A&M University serving as an officer on Dialogue Student Association and an active member of Aggie Coding Club. I transferred from The University of Texas at Dallas after finishing my first year with a 4.0 GPA while being on the Dean\'s list.I love building systems, whether it’s creating machine learning models or full-stack applications that solve real problems. I enjoy the process of turning ideas into working systems that are efficient, impactful, and intricately designed. I also have a strong interest in mathematics and enjoy applying it to understand and improve the technology I build.Outside of school, I love tutoring younger students and working in educational environments. I have served as a camp mentor, SAT tutor, and youth advisors to support middle and high schoolers in my communities academically and personally. These experiences strengthened my team-working, leadership, and communication skills. Additionally, I co-founded and operate an online apparel business through Etsy. I scaled my shop to six-figure annual revenue, managed thousands of orders, and maintained a 4.8-star rating with over reviews.

   Built and maintained core Next.js front-end features including data-driven pages, reusable UI components, and form-based interactions used across the site. Implemented and integrated Django backend APIs to store, retrieve, and serve application data, wiring the front-end and database together into a working full-stack system.
