As a Finance & Business Operations Manager, I partner with our CEO/Founder to build out corporate accounting and financial reporting functions. I manage day-to-day billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, W-2 and 1099 payroll, expense reimbursement, cash flow, and all other reporting functions. I also oversee the development and implementation of accounting processes, systems, and controls that will support future business growth.CONTRIBUTIONS: Entrusted to take charge of all financial responsibilities after only three months following CFO\'s departure. Streamlined financial operations and automated processes to maximum efficiency, cost savings, and compliance during a period of transformation and rapid growth. Reduced month-end close from 15 days to 5 business days. Improved ACH processing time by 4-6 hours per week. Informed decision-making and created a clearer snapshot of financials by developing prepaid accounts to track unearned revenue and prepaid expenses. Decreased errors, enhanced collaboration, and ensured the business could adapt and grow by advocating for new/upgraded HCM, CRM, payroll, credit card, and expense reporting.
