Notable highlights of my experience include the following: Administrate diverse advanced nursing practices and procedures, including obtaining patient history, performing physical exams, ordering imaging studies/laboratory tests, arranging consultations, and providing supportive care for bone marrow transplant patients. Demonstrate knowledge in bone marrow transplants by proficiently educating NP students regarding techniques and concepts. Executed quality palliative care services across a defined coverage area while developing community resource-based plans in diverse care settings, consequently achieving a high conversion rate from palliative care to hospice for eligible patients. Performed advanced skills, such as performing bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and inter-thecal chemotherapy while evaluating response to chemotherapy and managing episodic, minor, adverse chemotherapy effects. Ultimately, I have always been passionate about nursing. My goal is to advocate and care for patients while always supporting and representing their best interests.
