How does change make you feel?I used to be content with the status quo. I ate the same lunch (PB & J with an apple) every single day from freshman to senior year of high school, graduated college and was on track to succeed in the career I had chosen at age 16, and stayed in the Chicagoland area where my family had been born and raised.I was content. Life was good. But finally I decided to take a few risks. Perhaps it was getting better at calculating risk on my actuarial journey compared to simply avoiding it, or meeting my husband who was more spontaneous showing me an alternative. Either way.Flash forward to 2025 and I’ve pivoted my career twice, translating my consulting skills to sales (a career I never considered once until 2023). My husband and I bought a camper van with the intent of renting it out, but when housing prices skyrocketed, we decided to live in it for a few months, then a few more, and have since been able to explore over 17 states together while living in it on and off.Change is now a constant in my life, and I pride myself on considering every opportunity that presents itself (at least a little). My goal is to help franchisees to embrace change wherever they are at in their journey, be it their first or fifteenth location, and present Payroll & HR solutions that can lead to their future successes.
