Currently participating in an 18-month rotational program in which I will experience various manufacturing leadership roles- Rotation 1: System Engineer for Old El Paso Hard ShellsWorked to optimize system performance by leveraging manufacturing data to identify top losses and trends related to losses. With input from the line team, I develop dynamic digital reports that provide the team with real time insights on key factors influencing top losses. After team ideation sessions, I calculate potential annual savings and determine cost of capital improvement projects. Collaboration with Research and Development, Business, and Plant Line teams is also vital in order for me to be active in organizing and conducting trials- Rotation 2: System Engineer for Old El Paso Tortilla and SeasoningContinued the same job responsibilities as I had in the Hard Shell department but for Tortilla and Seasoning while filling in for a vacancy in the System Engineering position for those departments- Rotation 3: Team Leader Old El Paso Hard Shells Currently leading a team of 27, overseeing daily activities, as well as ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. I collaborate with HR to resolve any personal issues or conflicts. Ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees through updating payroll is another responsibility. I also work closely with team members to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to improve room performance.
