WORK HISTORY
Chief Veterinary Officer @Humane Pennsylvania
Reading, GB
I have been a veterinarian since 2009. I very much enjoy people who love animals. Whether that is their own pets, or all animals. I have worked for Humane Pennsylvania as an associate veterinarian from 20••••19 and as Chief Veterinary Officer since 2019. I love my job because I get to interact with animals, or people who love animals, every day. I love working with veterinarians and veterinary technicians who are excited to give great care to pets in need and build relationships with the animal lovers on our community. Humane Pennsylvania has a strong management team that fosters innovation in animal welfare. We have 2 campuses each with an AAHA accredited veterinary practice and an outstanding animal shelter. Our Reading, PA campus will soon offer a Walk-in Wellness Clinic model and Low Cost Spay and Neuter in a recently renovated building. Our Healthy Pet Initiative branch focuses on community pet’s needs like low cost or pay what you can vaccination clinics in the community and distributing pet food from Spike’s Pet Pantry. Our initiatives build on a 15 year track record of focusing on serving diverse communities and removing barriers to access.
