   Category Manager for Chevron’s spend with commercial airlines in 59 countries for business travel, responsibilities include:• Global market research, price/cost analysis, industry trends, best practices. • Develop short- and long-term strategic plans, category planning, strategic sourcing, negotiation, supplier management and integration and contract management in coordination with business owners. • Accountable for successful implementation and execution of the category strategy to deliver enterprise value.• Provides leadership and direction to the Global Travel Team, Supply Chain Management (SCM) peers, Business Analysts, and preferred travel management companies in alignment with corporate functions, travel policy and business unit strategy. • Makes critical decisions, champions the use of Chevron\'s Project Development and Execution Process and tools, and participates in business unit /functional initiatives as an internal/external subject matter expert.• Represents Chevron’s Global Travel Group on external travel association/industry teams and advisory boards.• Travel Services Supervisor - responsible for traveler safety, compliance & cost management for travel coordination to high-risk locations such as Nigeria/Mid-Africa, Angola, etc. Team consists of seven employees handling VIPs, financial coordination, foreign government officials & outsourced travel coordination to preferred travel agency and/or on-site contractors. Position responsible for: documentation & delivers processes & requirements to employees, suppliers and/or contractors for successful delivery of travel itineraries & in-country logistics; measures, monitors, & controls business processes; audits workflows for accuracy, pricing efficiencies, and compliance with FCPA, DP, etc. Ensures lead/supervisory requirements are met for each employee (i.e, ePMP, CDPs, etc.).
