I am co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at [C]Worthy, a non-profit R&D organization building open-source software for ocean carbon dioxide removal companies looking to quantify their carbon uptakes. Credible quantification is key to ensuring that CDR markets are effective mechanisms for funding large-scale carbon removal.I was formerly the Director of Earth Information and Cloud for Climate programs at SilverLining, focusing on accelerating the use and adoption of cloud computing within climate R&D communities and advocating for key climate observation. SilverLining is a non-profit organization working to improve the foundational scientific research base for Solar Climate Interventions like stratospheric aerosol injection and marine cloud brightening. I was Head of Research at Fabric RQ, bringing climate-ESG and financial-factor insights to risk management practices for long-term investors. At Jupiter Intelligence, I worked in R&D and science leadership roles - building skills around team building, management, and tailoring research toward product and client needs. During my academic career, I worked in the field of global climate modeling and initialized global climate prediction research at the National Center for Atmospheric Research for over 12 years, with specific expertise in ensemble data assimilation and verification of probabilistic forecasts. I am also a co-founder of SK Analytics, a commercial venture focused on providing real-time forecasts of infectious diseases. I sit on the advisory board of Salient Prediction and contribute to the Climate Working Group of the NOAA\'s Science Advisory Board. My PhD is in climate-modeling, global.
