ABOUT ALICIA HERNANDEZ
After receiving my BSN from Binghamton University’s Decker School of Nursing in May 2021 and passing my NCLEX, I began my nursing journey in the NYC Metropolitan area in emergency nursing. I rose to become trained in TNCC, Emergency Severity Index (ESI) triage, and in the responsibilities in serving as the charge nurse of the emergency department. Additionally, I received my Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) in July 2023 and had served as a Clinical Nurse Manager, allowing collaboration between the emergency department and multiple additional disciplines hospital wide. With the opportunity to synthesize my nursing knowledge with my prehospital experience as an EMT, I currently act primarily as a Pediatric ER nurse, striving to expand my knowledge base in the nursing profession!
