As Manager of Cardiovascular Operations, I am responsible for the day to day workflow of the cardiovascular programs by providing administrative, operations and business management oversight in conjunction with department managers. Under the general guidance of the Director of Cardiovascular Services, I am focused on facilitating growth of cardiovascular services, resource management, policy and program development, and sound fiscal management. Responsible for the management, coordination, administration and operational direction of the cardiovascular programs. Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication within CV services and will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships throughout the health system. Ensures charge capture is maximized and expenses are managed through on-going review and analysis of financial and clinical data. Analyses data, projects trends and assesses the actual target performance. Advises directors and mangers on issues related to budget goals and objectives by recommending solutions. Prepares, submits, and reports analytical data, spreadsheets and any other business material as needed. Manages a full range of human resource processes including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, staff development and discipline. I am also involved in vendor negotiations and management of those relationships. Supporting department managers with new program development and other special projects throughout the service line is also a primary responsibility.
