The Joint Commission, a non-profit organization, accredits and certifies more than health care organizations and programs in the United States. I am a Certified Yellow Belt and Change Agent. With these designations, I support The Joint Commission’s activities associated with establishing and sustaining a Robust Process Improvement® (RPI®) culture and trained in the foundational concepts and tools of problem solving and making improvements to better meet customer expectations and the organizations objectives.My current role is to provide ongoing customer support for organizations and corporate staff on their priorities as they relate to accreditation. Managing over 12 well-known corporate health systems and two States I work with Ambulatory organizations, Office Based Surgery Centers, Opioid Treatment Centers, Critical Access Hospitals, Hospitals, Nursing Care Centers, Home Health, Hospice, Pharmacy, DME, Behavioral Health and Human Services, Primary Care Medical Home, and a multitude of tailored components/organizations and specialty hospitals. I work closely with organizations to submit applications for initial and resurvey activity, support my customer needs, back-up the team, review and evaluate evidence of standards compliance submissions, publish final reports and correspondence as well as work with C-suite on mergers and acquisitions.
