View department →

Washington, DC, US

As the Director for the Rule of Law Index, I direct the annual production of the WJP\'s Rule of Law Index, a quantitative assessment tool that measures adherence to rule of law in 140 countries around the world. I oversee the entire Index production process, from data collection, cleaning, and analysis to report production and dissemination. As the project lead, I manage a team to produce the Index every year. I have many years of experience with survey research. I have helped to develop new questions and modules for our surveys, managed the translation and scripting process, evaluated sampling plans and frames, analyzed pretest data, and coordinated with fieldwork partners. I also help to produce our Index scores, which includes reviewing and assessing all of the question level data that factors into these scores to identify outliers, anomalies, and changes in our data.
