ABOUT ALICE RITA SALGARELLA
I am a biomedical engineer and Ph.D in bioengineering, working in the field of AIMD for cardiac rhythm management since 2019.I am characterized by a strong multidisciplinary approach, combining skills in bioengineering, implantable medical devices such as pacemakers, ICD and CRT devices, biointerfaces, tissue engineering, innovative biomaterials and therapeutic agents production and characterization.I worked on the design, development and in vitro testing of hydrogels and biocompatible materials for biomedical applications and medical devices such as intraneural electrodes, therapeutic nanoparticles, controlled drug delivery nanocarriers and innovative cell culture devices. From 2019, I am a NAMSA certified Biological Safety Specialist I contributed to projects proposal writing and call for application searching. I also managed project development both at a national and European level.
