Founded in 2020, The ByBlack Platform, powered by U.S. Black Chambers, Inc, is a National Directory and Certification Program exclusively designed for Black-owned businesses. Our mission is to empower Black entrepreneurs by providing them with resources, opportunities, and recognition to thrive in the business world.As the Vice President of External Affairs at The ByBlack Platform, I play a pivotal role in shaping the platform\'s trajectory and impact. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, I am a founding architect responsible for the development and execution of our certification program. Responsibilities include:(1) Developing and refining the certification program to ensure it meets the needs of Black-owned businesses and aligns with industry standards (2) Providing oversight of platform operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory requirements (3) Driving business development initiatives to expand the reach and impact of the platform (4) Leading internal and external communications and market strategy efforts to enhance brand awareness and engagement among stakeholders (5) Cultivating and nurturing strategic partnerships essential for platform legitimacy, sustainability, and growth.
