ABOUT ALICE SALISBURY CECOL MCIEEM

I am a Principal Ecologist at Maydencroft Limited, based in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, where I lead the ecology team and oversee a diverse portfolio of ecological projects. A Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and a Professional Member of the Arboricultural Association, I bring extensive experience in protected species surveys, ecological assessments, and habitat management.I hold Level 2 survey licences for Great Crested Newts and Bats and am certified in Professional Tree Inspection. I am currently working towards CIEEM chartership and actively pursuing additional species licences to expand my capabilities.With a strong academic foundation, I earned a Master’s degree with Distinction in Environmental Modelling, Monitoring and Management from King’s College London and hold a BSc (Hons) in Ecology and Wildlife Conservation from Bournemouth University. Driven by a commitment to ecological integrity and high professional standards, I combine scientific expertise with practical field skills to support sustainable land management and conservation outcomes.
