ABOUT ALICE KRYZAN
I’m a customer-first product manager – driven by deep curiosity and natural empathy. I’ve been told by both colleagues and clients that my superpower is asking the right questions to uncover the core customer needs and honing in on the most impactful problems that will move the needle for our customers and business. I thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and have worked at hyper-growth startups. In my early days at Benevity, I joined as the ~400th employee and was part of the $1.1B acquisition by HG Capital – the company had more than doubled when I moved to my next role. In my current role, as a Product Manager at Ten Thousand Coffees (10KC), Canada’s fastest growing B2B SaaS startup (120% YoY growth,$75M valuation), I lead product for Pathways our flagship mentorship platform, which includes a 3 pillar product portfolio encompassing Group Mentorship, 1:1 Mentorship & Networking. I’m responsible for developing our product vision, strategy and roadmap and work closely with a team of 15+ cross-functional partners across design, engineering, data, customer success, implementation, PMM and sales. Together, we build products and features that empower large enterprise customers to launch custom social learning and mentorship platforms at scale. The next-level connection and understanding to users and customers stems from my decade-plus of customer-facing experience. As a solution architect and customer success manager at 10KC, I led the transformation from an engineering-led product culture to a customer-first product culture, grounded in prioritizing customer empathy and seeking feedback from our users throughout the product development cycle. As a customer success manager at Benevity, I managed our customer relationship with Google and this was where I got my first taste of product. I partnered with a cross-company team of designers, developers, QA, support, end-user care and finance to pm and launch the “Peer Matching” feature – the largest campaign in company history. Prior to Benevity, I worked in finance as a Mid-Market Commercial Banking Associate at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), and as a Client Services Lead at Sandstone Asset Management and as the Head of Sales at Equi-Products. Outside of work, you can find me skiing, biking, exploring the outdoors with my husband and dog Hera or fostering more rescues.
