About Alice Jain

I am currently working as a Long term capacity planning manager to strategize the next 4-5 years of factory capacities and insourcing across the Globe for Personal care category. After completing all stints of the UFLP (Unilever Future Leadership Program) in Hindustan Unilever Ltd. Supply Chain, I served as Demand Fulfilment Manager for East, which was last mile customer operations. I have completed Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Operations and Supply Chain from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. I was among the Dean\'s Top Ten and an awardee of Top 5 in Non-classroom learning category. I also made a mark in Dean\'s Merit List. I did Autumn internship with HUL and received PPO. Apart from academics, I was a member of Spin Club (dance) and OSCM committee. I have previously worked as a Senior Engineer in Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(Chennai) and have a 19-month experience in the Shipbuilding industry. I was responsible for the preliminary and detailed design of Engineering systems. I am a Bachelor of Technology (Mechanical Engineering) graduate from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, where I secured the 2 gold medals for securing Rank 1 in B.Tech Mechanical and for overall Girls Meritorious student. Moreover, I was actively involved in co-curricular activities - I was the Hindi Editor for the college magazine, Excelsior. I was also an active member of Rotaract club, Aero Astro club and NCC. I have participated in inter-NIT Volleyball competition. I have also been a consistent rank holder in academics for 12 consecutive years at school. I am a person with strong interpersonal skills. I am perseverant, determined and believe in learning from mistakes. My hobbies include- creative writing, travelling, singing, sketching.
