ABOUT ALICE HUDSON

By trade I am an award-winning communicator and storyteller that is passion-driven, pays close attention to detail, comfortably meets quick deadlines, demonstrates enthusiasm about her field of work, strives to tell unique stories from her community, possesses a strong work ethic, is motivated to grow, and can be relied upon to work efficiently both on a team and individually. I have a passion for social justice and work within spaces that put my skills to use and execute projects with lasting impact. I have used these skills to create engaging, brand-focused digital and print content for a 5-year capital campaign. I enjoyed discovering, creating and publishing stories about amazing students, stellar faculty and diverse initiatives campus-wide. I gained invaluable experience in the realm of development that I hope to use in the future as I look for more opportunities within the nonprofit sector. I have always been drawn to stories about food whether I learn a new recipe or hear from a farmer that sustains their community with their yearly harvest. I consider myself quite lucky to work at the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC which has allowed me to use my skills to orchestrate our involvement in the Healthy Opportunities Pilot (HOP).
