ABOUT ALICE GURR

Content, Digital and Events Marketing: I create, implement and oversee the strategies for these channels for a predominantly B2B research company operating in the global power and energy market. The channels include social media, website, emails, events, paid advertising and more! 2022 was an exciting year at Aurora, where I was responsible for building and optimising plans and tactics for digital, content and events marketing globally. I worked across 15 regional products, 2 SaaS products and 4 events.I strategized and launched the first content marketing campaigns, set up and ran the first social media paid advertising, and successfully sold-out tickets for all 4 events we ran in 2022, including 2 Renewables Summits, the flagship event the Aurora Spring Forum, and the Hydrogen conference.To build on the success of these strategies, I embarked on the learning curve that is recruitment late last year! Having filled these roles, I am line managing a team of 3 Marketing Coordinators, this involves training, teaching and helping to grow their confidence, as well as managing the marketing strategies.Prior to this, I worked in digital marketing for a market research company. My role included managing and running Google Adverts both for internal websites and for external companies advertising with us, writing content campaigns, and specializing in infographics. I do lots of graphic design work, such as designing product brochures and content guides. I manage social media channels, designing assets and copy writing.
