I work across project management, business development and technical delivery within the Economic Growth and Climate and Environment Team to design and implement HMG-funded projects. Projects: Senior Programme Manager & Technical Assistance Facility (TAF) Manager, Climate and Ocean Adaptation and Sustainable Transition (COAST) Programme, FCDO, Global, Oct 2024-Present (full-time role). Project Manager, Financial Services Group Plus (FSG Plus), British International Investment, Global, 2024-25. DAI manages Technical Assistance Facility for Financial Institutions on FSG Plus. This TAF aims to work with FIs to catalyse investment in low carbon, climate resilient projects and promote inclusive climate finance. I oversee TA and Research and Events projects in Gender Lens Investment and Investment in Frontier Markets under the facility, conception to procurement, contracting, management and completion. I manage a growing pool of 60+ TA providers, and manage financial reporting and forecasting to BII and DAI. Due Diligence Officer, Global Centre on Biodiversity for Climate Programme, DEFRA, Global, 2024. I was responsible for evaluating grantees’ applications for upcoming grants on GCBC. This included through due diligence, reporting, and evaluation meetings with the grantees to further investigate their compliance and processes. Start Up Manager, Nepal in Business (NIB), FCDO, Nepal, 2024. NIB is a 5-year, £9.2 million programme that seeks to drive transformational economic growth, promote economic diversification and reduce poverty through addressing some of the key constraints in Nepal’s private sector development. I managed project start up, including contracting, team mobilisation from Nepal and the UK; managing procurement of office and relevant assets; recruitment of selected team members; leading the design of the GEDSI strategy, including document review, key-informant interviews and draft of the strategy.
