ABOUT ALI AZAM

I have completed my PhD and Masters from University of Utah and Bachelors from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2018, 2016 and 2012, respectively. During my PhD in supervision with Dr. Jeffrey S. Walling, I have worked on Switched capacitor power amplifier, Digital amplifiers, Digital beam-forming, Quadrature and Polar PA architectures, Digitally frequency tunable power amplifiers (PA) etc. My main work was focused on enhancement of effective resolution to reduce out-of-band noise in a high power digital PA.I was an intern from 20••••18 at Intel corporation designing novel transmitter architectures for enhanced license augmented access applications (eLAA). After my graduation, I joined Intel as a RF engineer in 2019. I have worked on mmWave transceiver systems for base station, Transceiver systems and circuit design for automotive radar applications, digital transceiver systems for WiFi/BT etc. As a recognition, I have been promoted as a member of technical staff in 2020 where I am currently working as a senior analog engineer. During my service here at Intel, I have worked on multiple process nodes including 14nm,16nm, 28nm, taped out multiple times and collaborated with multiple teams spread across the globe.
