ABOUT ALIAH WILLIAMS
Five years in the local broadcast news industry taught me that every person has a story and every story is worth sharing. The power of communications lies in how you share these stories. As a former Multimedia Journalist, Reporter and News Anchor I learned how to be resourceful and perceptive. I left the news industry with skills in video editing, creative writing, public speaking and interpersonal communications. Many would call me, a one-woman-band, because I could do it all. Now, I use my knowledge and experiences to promote wellness for every child within reach of Dayton Children\'s Hospital. At Dayton Children’s Hospital, I lead content strategy and growth marketing for programs focused on kids’ mental health and diversity, equity, and inclusion. I’ve helped increase engagement by nearly 30%, grown our ambassador community from to over and led the rebranding of our signature children’s mental health initiative across digital and traditional platforms. I’m also an experienced on-air host and public speaker, with years of practice in connecting with audiences from the anchor desk to conference stages. I bring that same presence to internal presentations, community events, and branded video content.Whether I’m building a newsletter strategy, managing social content, or writing scripts for a campaign launch, my mission is to educate and raise awareness of the work being done to address health disparities and promote equitable treatment for children and families in Dayton and across the country.
