Analysis of Process requirements and selection of the best machine, which fit in the specific project requirements- Selection of driver of the compressor train based on the available utility of the plant- Justifying the technical and commercial aspects of selection of major compressors and associated drivers in the very early stage of the job to help the project to identify its major long lead items and major equipment which significantly impacts the process and plant design- Preparation of Technical Specifications for Compressors, Drives and associated auxiliaries, such as lube oil system, seal gas system, anti-surge system, gas turbines, steam turbines- Preparation of Material Requisitions and equipment data sheets- Vendor Liaison and Bid Technical Evaluation- Review of Vendor Prints- Coordinating and running major meetings such as vendor design review meeting, Hazop, Model Reviews- Managing and coordination of all the various tasks associated with my packages with the other disciplines (engineering or procurement teams)- Test and Inspections of Compressor Packages including mechanical run tests, performance tests, String tests, final inspections- Plant PID reviews- Participation in Plant HAZOP and Model Reviews- Leading compressor specialists team in Oil and Gas Projects (Assignment of tasks and responsibilities to team members, providing project manhour forecast to lead engineer, balancing the work load between the team, participating in important meetings and problem solving, determination of strategy of handling the work and liaison with other disciplines to drive the tasks forward).
